Wasl for Electronic Invitations is a comprehensive digital platform that allows users to create their own events and send professional electronic invitations to guests directly via WhatsApp, providing a modern and fast alternative to traditional paper invitations. The website's concept is based on simplifying the event planning process (weddings, parties, special occasions, events, etc.) through an intelligent system that allows the client to create an event, choose an invitation design, manage the guest list, and then send invitations automatically using Meta's WhatsApp Business API message templates. The website is designed to serve multiple user groups within a comprehensive, secure, and scalable system. System Architecture The website consists of: A homepage (landing page) showcasing the service concept and its features; an admin dashboard; a customer dashboard; and an organizers dashboard. Each dashboard is designed to provide a seamless, clear, and integrated user experience based on each user's permissions. What I did for the project: Full Web Development: Completely developed the website from scratch. Transformed the project idea into a practical, commercially viable platform. Designed and implemented the complete system architecture. Back-End Development: Builded the back-end system using Laravel (PHP). Designed MySQL databases to support events, users, guests, and invitations. Managed permissions and roles (Admin, Customer, Organizer). Implemented the complete website business logic. Front-End Development: Developed user-friendly and intuitive interfaces using Blade. Improved the user experience (UX) for each control panel. Enhanced compatibility with phones and tablets. Authentication & User Management: Created a secure login and account creation system. Managed users and their permissions. Protected user data and sessions. WhatsApp Integration: Integrated the WhatsApp Business API from Meta. Sent invitations using official message templates. Linked invitations to events and guests. Ensured reliable message delivery in accordance with Meta policies. Invitation Experience: Created an invitation preview/demo section. Presented the invitation interactively.
